With anticipated growth to meet up with demand we need a senior level developer to over the app architecture along with overseeing the product roadmap.
The opportunity is right for someone who wants to basically move into a senior role, i.e. CTO base.
What You Will be Doing:
- Develop overall technology strategy and software architecture
- Working on existing backend services built in laravel framework
- Build on scaling operations along with external APIs.
- Ensure security, scalability and performance of overall technology infrastructure
- Build and manage a technical team
- Evangelize the company’s technology plan, capabilities, and vision with executives & customers
- Align the company’s technology development plan with the company’s business goals
- Drive system infrastructure decisions to ensure performance and capital efficiency
- Manage within target KPIs, project timelines, and overall budgetary goals
Must Haves:
- 6-10 years of experience, both as an individual contributor and manager in the field of software engineering
- Entrepreneurial spirit -- someone who can simultaneously think big, but also grounded in the immediate, practical, get-stuff-done mindset of a startup.
- Someone who is passionate about what we are doing and is in alignment with our vision and values
- Deep knowledge of the latest technologies and engineering trends, tools and platforms used in SaaS.
- Understanding of budgets and project planning with an adept ability to prioritize and focus on the most critical projects first.
- Ability to conduct technology analyses/evaluations, infrastructure decisions and deep code reviews.
- Deep leadership and organizational development skills, with the ability to attract, assess, hire and retain top technical talent.
- Growth mindset with a love of solving problems and a willingness to know one’s own knowledge limitations.
- Previous technical leadership experience required at least at a director level.
