A very promising startup is looking for a Senior iOS programmer. It's a remote position at this time. The person will be joining a young and innovative team that is working on a challenging edtech product. 

Responsibilities

• Write testable, reusable code towards building the company mobile product.

• Have experience in building apps for Mobile as well as tablets/iPad. 

• Support the other team members(backend developers, QA).

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in building iOS applications.

• A strong command of important programming and computer science concepts.

• A strong understanding of how mobile applications are built from end-to-end, including how they interact with server-side components.

• Advanced knowledge of core mobile principles (UI implementation, common development frameworks, REST APIs).

• A detailed knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, MVC and well articulated opinions on their use.

• A proactive personality, and a desire to deliver your best work.

• TDD/BDD experience

• Experience consuming SOAP and RESTful APIs.

• Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git.

• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently

• Exceptional learning skills

• Fluency in both oral and written English

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

Nice to have

• B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (Strong Computer Science fundamentals)

• Experience building scalable systems with cloud infrastructures like AWS.

• Interest in building apps for kids.
