Position Overview
E-Commerce Product Catalog Lead is responsible for maintaining and improving data accuracy in search and all product catalogs including the public facing catalog and custom catalogs for customers. The role will lead initiatives to improve site search accuracy and system performance on an on-going basis for all users
Key Responsibilities
- Continually optimize, test, and analyze the Endeca pipeline to ensure the platform is operating at peak efficiency Propose and lead improvement projects when needed
- Work with Partner Product Marketers to ensure results returned for both guided navigation and relevance ranking site searches are current and complete
- Work with Partner Product Marketers to continually refine the product categories and subcategories for all online products
- Ensure the site search refinements are working optimally across all product categories and subcategories.
- Work with the Ecommerce Client Success Team to build catalog filters for custom zones
- Ensure documentation of all online catalog operations policies and procedures
- Track and understand emerging information technology practices and standards, particularly regarding Endeca.
- Daily management of Endeca and CNET product
- Work with Ecommerce team to prioritize projects, and manage to conclusion. Use IT project management principles to ensure all IT projects are on-time, at-cost, and error-free
Required Skills
- Experience working with Endeca Search
- Strong aptitude and affinity for IT projects including databases, front end coding and configuration, and XML
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Logical, efficient & proactive
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Comfortable with ambiguity and possess an ability to adapt quickly and easily. Ability to analyze complex problems and move them to resolution
- Background and style that elicits respect in the organization through style of engagement, technical depth, customer service and results
- Positive attitude and ability to build strong relationships within the company and with external partners
