Job Description:

Oxford Policy Management (OPM) is looking for qualified individuals to provide support services on a project for an international organization, in Pakistan. The project will provide a range of services including but not limited to provision of administrative, financial, procurement and logistical support.

The application deadline is 29th October 2017 and a cover letter specifying expected salary is required.

The following position is being sought to be filled:

Project Procurement Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Procurement Coordinator is responsible for delivery of procurement management and project coordination services provided as part of the project.

The duties and responsibilities of the Project Procurement Coordinator include:

·        Establishing, administering and monitoring the procurement system to ensure that the procurement is completed in an accurate and timely manner;

·         Carrying out all necessary procurement activities, including but not limited to procurement of Technical Specialists through local and international competitive processes, including but not limited to:

o   Drafting Terms of Reference for Technical Specialists;

o   Advertisement of procurement opportunities;

o   Development of evaluation criteria and facilitation of evaluation;

o   Preparation of Evaluation report; and,

o   Negotiations and contracting.

·         Providing contract administration and management services, including contract amendments and terminations;

·         Developing the Procurement Plan and providing inputs for the development of other key project documents (Operating Procedures Manual, Work Plans and reports);

·         Providing project coordination services, such as;

o   Undertaking program or project design;

o   Coordinating project audits;

o   Facilitating stakeholder coordination.

·         Providing logistical services, as required;

·         Supporting Client’s local development initiatives, as required; and,

·         Providing other related services, as required.

Education:

Masters from a recognized institution in any of the following disciplines-business, finance, accounting, logistics, economics, international development, procurement, project management, business administration, engineering, applied sciences

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience.
  • Demonstrated work experience in providing the following services:
  • Undertaking procurement for goods or services;
  • Providing logistic services;
  • Providing support to local development initiative services; and,
  • Providing project coordination services.
  • Developing operational documents including but not limited to: manuals, procedures or templates
