Job Description

The individual must be a strong team player with a dynamic personality and the ability to manage multiple critical projects and issues concurrently, while remaining focused on the business impact and customer success. This is a fast-paced environment, and the individual must possess a willingness to adapt, overcome, and succeed in a constantly changing business and technical environment. The role is to interface with clients, project team members, and senior management to drive successful outcomes for our customers.

The individual must have strong experience in one of the following areas: networking, IT security, Cloud infrastructures, PKI/digital signatures, data centre deployments, project managing complex large-scale IT projects.  

Candidate will be required to: 

• Work on technical proposals and produce presentations
• Produce High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) for Ascertia product deployments in customer environments  
• Describe to clients how the Ascertia product range can be managed, monitored and updated using various cloud and opensource technologies
• Review product functionality and product documentation
• Manage and lead client communications
• Contribute in product and project architecture decisions
• Maintain routine communications with the management concerning all aspects of the project
• Control aspects of project to meet customer expectations
• Track project status, timelines and issues and risks
• Maintain project documentation and prepare/deliver project progress reports
• Conduct internal project review meetings and act as project information source
• Monitor project deliverables to ensure quality is maintained
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules

Skills Required:

• Strong experience of deploying and managing technologies such as: 1) System management, monitoring and alerting using MS System Centre and other open source tools, 2) Windows Server and Linux administration including deployment, hardening, and troubleshooting 3) DBMS deployment, administration, optimization, 4) Cloud infrastructures e.g. Microsoft Azure and AWS Networking – deploying, managing, monitoring, troubleshooting  5) Information Security, e.g. penetration testing, setting up secure n-tier network architectures, configuring firewalls and end-point security  6) Performing UAT,  product training and documentation,  7) Project managing complex projects which cover all of the above areas.
• Development of project plans including strategy definition, project forecast allocation, timelines and milestones, and contingency planning
• Thinks through and communicates clearly goals, interests, and positions in negotiation or conflict situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of client engagement
• Creative and critical thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to travel whenever required (e.g. typically this could be every fortnight and mostly within MENA region)
• High level of presentation/persuasive communication skills
• Ability to manage customer expectations in accordance with work priorities
• An ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects, oversee daily project operations, and support other projects in a contributor role
