| Job Description: |
The purpose of this job is to diagnose and treat ophthalmic diseases, performing eye examinations, and assisting in surgical procedures. They are also responsible for patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity testing, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, tonometry, and funduscopy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, medical history, and diagnostic findings.
- Prescribe medications, eye drops, or other therapeutic interventions to manage eye diseases and alleviate symptoms.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic surgeries.
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers regarding patient referrals, consultations, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- MBBS from a recognized medical Institute.
- Completion of DOMS residency training.
- Registered with PMDC.
- FCPS (Ophthalmology)
