The Infrastructure Architect & Engineer will lead the design and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions while actively participating in their deployment, maintenance, and optimization. This position requires a mix of high-level architectural planning and hands-on engineering to meet the organization’s business and technical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure architectures across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Develop comprehensive strategies for infrastructure modernization, including cloud adoption and hybrid solutions.
• Perform capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and ensure alignment with business continuity goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the organization’s IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.

Engineering Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain infrastructure solutions across Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Manage and optimize Active Directory, Group Policies, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Design, deploy, and manage advanced networking solutions, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and switches.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture & engineering
• Expertise in Windows & Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with networking, automation, and security best practices
• Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Work environment:

• Full-time remote job
• 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday)
